An adults-only after-hours experience at the York Dungeon featuring theatre, special effects, and saucy storytelling.
Dungeon Lates is the adults-only after-hours version of the York Dungeon, running every Saturday from 10 January through 24 October 2026. It's strictly 18+, so you'll only be in there with other adults. The Dungeon describes it as a darker, scarier take on the usual experience, combining theatre, special effects and storytelling with a bit of saucy humour and a few surprises thrown in. They're pretty clear that it's not for the faint-hearted, so keep that in mind before you book.
The night follows the same general route as the daytime tour, but with a few twists and jokes that are a bit more on the edge than what they'd run during the day. It's a paid event, and the tour itself takes about 60 minutes, though some sources put it closer to 75. Your ticket also gets you free entry to Circuit, the nightclub, so you can keep the night going after the tour wraps up.

It runs every Saturday at 18:30, with one exception: there's no Dungeon Lates on Saturday 22 August. If you're looking for something closer to Halloween, they've added a few more dates with later slots: Friday 23 October (18:30–19:30), Saturday 24 October (18:30–20:00), Friday 30 October (18:30–20:30), and Saturday 31 October (18:30–21:30). Capacity is limited and the events are exclusive, so booking online in advance is the best way to make sure you get in. You can also reschedule your tickets for free if your plans change. There's a 10% discount on tickets available through Visit York, and the tour starts at 18:30.
