Weekly Wednesday storytelling session for children aged 1 to 4, with nature-inspired stories read aloud in the garden.
Storybook Time is back at the Atlanta Botanical Garden this Wednesday, October 21, as part of a storytelling series for children aged 1 to 4. It runs every Wednesday from March through October, so if you've missed it earlier in the season, there's still time to catch a session before the series wraps up for the year.
The setup is simple: parents and toddlers settle in to hear nature-inspired stories read aloud, with the garden's grounds as the backdrop. The morning is split into two sessionsโone at 10:00 AM and another at 10:45 AMโso the groups stay small and the attention stays on the story. The whole thing runs from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM ET, giving you a little window to get in, listen, and then wander the gardens afterward.
It's a low-pressure way to spend a Wednesday morning with a little one. The nature theme fits the setting, and the small group size means you won't be fighting for a spot or dealing with a crowd. If you're already planning a visit to the garden, this is an easy add-on that gives the morning a bit of structure.

Storybook Time is included with garden admission, so you don't need a separate ticket for the storytelling itself. Admission is $24.95 for ages 3 to 12, $27.95 for adults, and free for children 3 and under. You'll find the garden at 1345 Piedmont Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30309.
