Little Acorns

Little Acorns is back at Avalon - The Plaza on Tuesday, October 27, from 10 AM to 12 PM. It's a free outdoor playtime for preschool-aged children, and this is one of the final sessions of the 2026 run.

Each morning has its own theme, and the playtime is built around it. The sessions are rounded out with a few surprises: face painting, storytellers, and visits from favorite characters. It's the kind of thing that gives kids plenty to do while you hang out nearby, and since it's outdoors, it's a good way to get them some fresh air on a Tuesday morning.

Because it's held outside, the event can be postponed or cancelled if the weather turns, so it's worth keeping an eye on the forecast before you head out. If the weather holds, it's a low-pressure way to spend a couple of hours with your little ones.

This is part of a long series of Tuesdays throughout the year—April 14 and 28, May 5 and 19, June 9 and 23, July 7 and 21, August 4 and 18, September 8 and 22, and October 13 and 27—so if you've been to a few already, this is one more to add to the list. It's free, and it runs from 10 AM to 12 PM at Avalon - The Plaza in Atlanta.
