Annual G-scale holiday model train display presented by Norfolk Southern, included with garden admission.
Holiday Model Trains return to the Atlanta Botanical Garden on Saturday, November 14, and they'll be running through Sunday, January 10. It's a G-scale display presented in partnership with Norfolk Southern, and it's become one of the Garden's annual holiday favorites. The trains run during regular daytime hours and are included with Garden admission, both during the day and during Garden Lights, Holiday Nights, the Garden's winter program presented by Invesco. One thing to keep in mind: the trains can't run in the rain, so check the weather before you head out.
The display arrives as the Atlanta Botanical Garden celebrates its 50th anniversary, a season that updates several of its most beloved installations. Nature's Wonders, the world's largest curtain of synchronized light and sound, gets a new soundtrack and choreography. There's also a lily-of-the-valley-inspired light installation on the Anne Cox Chambers Flower Walk, which leads to a massive, light-wrapped mosaiculture dragon making its Garden Lights debut after appearing in past Imaginary Worlds exhibitions. The model trains fit right into that mix, running alongside the lights and the anniversary updates.

The display runs from November 14 through January 10, so there's plenty of time to fit it in whenever your schedule allows. You'll find the Garden at 1345 Piedmont Ave NE in Atlanta.
