A western-horror play set at the dawn of the transcontinental telegraph in the remote Nevada desert, presented by Fly North Theatricals.
Fly North Theatricals is bringing The Invention of Lightning to 2727 S. Jefferson Av. in St. Louis, a new western horror written by Colin Healy and Bradley Rohlf. The play is set at the dawn of the transcontinental telegraph in the remote Nevada desert, where two men relay the messages of a newly connected nation through the power of electricity and discover something unsettling lurking in the wires. It's a western horror, so it blends the wide-open, isolated feeling of the frontier with something darker creeping in from the edges.
