Halloween costume party with four live bands, a tarot reader and s'mores, benefiting the Women's Safe House.
Schlafly Tap Room is hosting a Halloween party and benefit for the Women's Safe House on Friday, October 30, from 6 PM to 11 PM. It's a costume party, and costumes are encouraged, so if you've been sitting on a half-finished outfit, this is your excuse to actually finish it.
The music is the main draw: four bands are on the bill—Unruly Vixens, Cerebral Anomaly, Young Animals, and The Velvet Tongues. That's a full night of live sets, and since it's a costume party, you can expect the energy to lean into the holiday. Between the bands, there's a tarot reader on hand for readings and s'mores to keep you going. It's the kind of night that works whether you're there for the music, the costumes, or just to hang out with friends.
Beyond the party, it's a benefit for the Women's Safe House, and they're collecting donations of feminine hygiene products at the door. If you're planning to go, picking up a few extra packs to bring along is a simple way to contribute to the cause while you're out.
