Weekly Wednesday outdoor lunchtime party with live music, food trucks and games at the Old Post Office Plaza in Downtown St. Louis.
Lunchtime Live is back at the Old Post Office Plaza on Wednesday, October 28, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. It's part of a weekly series that runs every Wednesday from April through October, so if you've already missed a few, there are still plenty of dates left before the season wraps up.
The setup is pretty straightforward: live music, food trucks, and games. It's billed as downtown St. Louis' premier outdoor lunchtime party, and the plaza is built for it. The Old Post Office Plaza is an urban open space at the city's Historic Old Post Office, shaded by trees and lined with benches around an artistic waterfall. There's a performance stage and a video wall that can seat about a thousand people, so there's plenty of room to spread out and take a break from the office.
Beyond the music and the food, it's pitched as much as a networking opportunity as a concert. It draws residents, visitors, and downtown workers to one of the area's central public spaces, making it a good spot to run into people you might not otherwise cross paths with during the workday. The series is co-sponsored by Greater St. Louis, Inc. and the Downtown St. Louis Community Improvement District.
