A hands-on art workshop for children under four to create prehistoric-themed art with artist Celia Ford.
Toddler Time: Delightful Dinosaurs is at SeaCity Museum on Thursday 30 July, from 10.30am to 11.30am. It's a prehistoric-themed art workshop for under-fours and their friends, run by Southampton Cultural Services.
Leading the session is Celia Ford, who works as both an artist and an early years practitioner. The hour is built around making art with dinosaurs as the theme, so it's a chance for the little ones to get stuck in with some creative play. It's aimed at children under four, but older siblings and extra adults are welcome to come along too. Just keep in mind that children must be accompanied.
If you're looking for more for the kids, the museum also runs 'Hands On History', a series of workshops where children discover history through interactive activities, and the 'Southampton Culture Club for Kids', which takes children aged 6½ to 12 through the museum and gallery, with the possibility of visiting the Art Gallery. Between the two, there's plenty to keep different age groups occupied.
