A family session inspired by Harry Potter where children create magic wands and search for magical characters in the garden.
Wizard School comes to Tudor House & Garden on Monday 26 October, a family session inspired by the story of Harry Potter. It's run for children over six, with adults paying for the young ones and joining them for the ride. The day sits within the 'Weekend Wonderings' family programme at Tudor House & Garden, a house whose history spans more than 800 years, starting with King John's Palace.
Inside, young visitors meander through the magical house, make their own magic wand, witness magic, and search for magical characters in the garden. It's a hands-on session rather than a sit-down show, so the kids get to move around and do things themselves. The organisers make it clear that it's for educational and entertainment purposes only and isn't affiliated with, authorised, endorsed or sponsored by Warner Bros., J.K. Rowling, Bloomsbury Publishing, Scholastic or any associated rights holders.

There are three sessions to choose from: 10.30am–11.30am, 12noon–1pm and 1.30pm–2.30pm, so you can pick the one that fits your day best. It's £8.00 per child, with no charge for accompanying adults. Tudor House & Garden is on Bugle Street, Southampton, SO14 2AD.
