Robin Hood is back at the Mayflower Theatre this winter, running from 12 December 2026 to 3 January 2027. It's the theatre's annual pantomime, so it's a family show built on the usual ingredients of the genre: laugh-out-loud comedy, plenty of audience participation, special effects, and no shortage of boos and hisses. The production runs for around two hours with an interval, and it's recommended for ages 3 and over, with under-2s admitted at parents' discretion.
Beyond the main run, the venue programmes assisted performances for those who need them. There are relaxed, captioned, British Sign Language and audio-described shows, and a touch tour that lets you explore the set before the curtain goes up. If you're bringing the whole family, it's worth keeping those in mind.
