A musical bringing J.M. Barrie's classic story to life with over 50 young amateur performers at Mayflower Studios, perfect for audiences of all ages.
Peter Pan – A BIG Musical Adventure runs at Mayflower Studios from 20 to 31 December, a new production of J.M. Barrie's story staged in Studio 1 on Above Bar Street. It's a musical version of the classic, and the cast is made up of more than 50 young amateur performers from across the region. The story follows Peter, Wendy and Tinker Bell as they face off against Captain Hook, told with a mix of old and new songs, a sparkling set and choreography that carries the show through.
It's built for families, with the production described as festive and suitable for all ages. The age advice suggests it's for ages 3 and over, and under-2s aren't admitted. There's a good range of assisted performances available: audio described, British Sign Language, chilled and captioned shows, plus a touch tour on 27 December. On select dates, you can also add a festive afternoon tea to the trip.
