Peter Serafinowicz brings his first solo UK tour to Mayflower Studios on Wednesday 24 February 2027. It's a long time coming: this is his first solo tour since The Peter Serafinowicz Show debuted on BBC Two back in 2005, so it's been more than two decades since he last took a show like this on the road.
What you'll see on stage is a mix of his trademark absurd comedy and the uncanny impersonations he's known for. The twist is that he'll be building those characters live in front of you using cutting-edge face-swap technology he developed himself, so you get to watch the transformations happen in real time rather than seeing them polished in an edit.
He didn't write it alone, either. He worked with The Dawson Bros., the comedy trio who've been with him for over 20 years. They've got a funny story about how they ended up on the project: they claim they were sealed into writing with him after a series of phone calls from Sir Michael Caine, Sir Paul McCartney, and Brian Butterfield himself. That last name should ring a bell if you've followed his recent work — Serafinowicz spent 2024 touring as Butterfield, a run that sold more than 20,000 tickets and included a sold-out night at the Hammersmith Apollo.

If you're not familiar with him, he's one of those names that pops up in the credits of things you've almost certainly seen. He's appeared in over 100 screen credits, including Spaced, I'm Alan Partridge, Shaun of the Dead, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Star Wars. He also hosts Netflix's Million Dollar Secret and is set to play Peeves in the new Harry Potter series. The Southampton date is part of his first solo tour of the UK, coming to Mayflower Studios on Wednesday 24 February.
