The 10th anniversary tour of the musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie, with Ashcon Rahmani as Jamie, returns to the Mayflower Theatre.
Everybody's Talking About Jamie comes to the Mayflower Theatre from Tuesday 4 to Saturday 8 May 2027, part of its 10th anniversary tour. It's a musical about Jamie New, a sixteen-year-old living on a council estate in Sheffield who, with the support of his mum and his friends, pushes through prejudice to step into the spotlight. The score is a collection of catchy pop tunes by Dan Gillespie Sells, lead singer of The Feeling, and Tom MacRae, and this tour adds a brand-new song to the mix.
Ashcon Rahmani takes the title role of Jamie, with Rebecca Trehearn as his mum. Kelle Bryan plays Miss Hedge, and Divina De Campo doubles as Hugo and Loco Chanelle. The show arrives in Southampton after a record-breaking three-year West End residency, two sold-out UK and Ireland tours, and an Amazon Studios award-winning film; it also picked up Best New Musical at the WhatsOnStage Awards.

Producer Nica Burns says the production has played every inhabited continent. The tour opens at Leeds Grand Theatre, ten years after the original staging at the Sheffield Crucible, before heading to the USA, Korea, Japan and Italy. It's recommended for ages 12 and over. Tickets are priced from £25 to £55, and the run at the Mayflower Theatre is Tuesday 4 to Saturday 8 May.
