Therapeutic sound bath session with gentle breathwork and guided meditation to promote relaxation and set intentions for winter.
Awaken with Amy Autumn is holding a winter light sound bath at St Peter's Church on Friday 11 December, from 7:30pm to 8:30pm, with doors open from 7:15pm. It's part of her Sound Immersions collection, and the whole session is built around rest, hope and renewal.
It's a guided experience rather than just lying back and listening. It starts with gentle breathwork and guided meditation to settle you in, and from there it moves into immersive therapeutic sound. The idea is to guide you into deep relaxation, soften the nervous system and release mental and emotional overwhelm, and then leave you with a bit of space to reconnect with your own inner wisdom and plant new intentions for the quieter season. It's the kind of thing that makes sense when the days are at their shortest and the city is leaning into winter.
