A triple bill of experimental music featuring Trianglecuts, The Manifestation Group and She The Throne in the historic Samuel Worth Chapel.
Trianglecuts, The Manifestation Group and She The Throne play a triple bill of experimental music at The Samuel Worth Chapel on Thursday 15 October. The chapel sits inside the Sheffield General Cemetery, which opened in 1836 and took its last burial in 1978; it's now preserved as a green space by the Sheffield General Cemetery Trust. The chapel is fully accessible and houses a licensed bar, with the proceeds going to the Trust's work.
She The Throne are a ritual noise duo from Manchester. Their 2023 album NUNTIS drew on industrial, harsh noise and the darker melody of Portishead, and they've shared stages with The Body, Dis Fig, Wolf Eyes, METH, AYA, Dälek and Greet. The Manifestation Group treat songs as distinct, agential entities and have been uncovering the phenomenology of a possibly fictional 60s folk band, The Lesley & Charles Quartet. Trianglecuts emerged from Manchester's dark wave scene and recently released the album When Death Leaves.
