Night of stand-up from The Last Laugh Comedy Club, with Cerys Nelmes, Clayton Jones, Jordan Ducharme and Harry Stachini.
The Last Laugh is back at Sheffield City Hall on Friday 20 November, with a 7:15pm start. It's a night of stand-up comedy run by The Last Laugh Comedy Club, which bills itself as the oldest comedy club in the North of England and the longest-running in Yorkshire. They've been playing at the City Hall for 20 years now, so it's a bit of a Sheffield institution.
Toby Foster, star of Phoenix Nights, curates the nights. The format is straightforward: each show pairs a compere with a handpicked selection of comedians, and the room works as an all-in-one venue, so you keep the same seat throughout the night with food and drinks available. The line-up for this one is Cerys Nelmes, Clayton Jones, Jordan Ducharme and Harry Stachini.
There's a fair bit of ground covered across the four. Cerys Nelmes is a West Country stand-up who works in a storytelling style of genuine warmth. Clayton Jones won Last Minute Comedy Comedian Of The Year 2017 and was shortlisted for English Comedian Of The Year that same year. Jordan Ducharme is Canadian-born and started out in Vancouver, and Harry Stachini has amassed millions of views across social media, known for an easy-going style and storytelling. The club does note that line-ups are subject to change, so it's worth keeping that in mind.
