A night of disco and funk music with DJ Joe and Algie from Skank & Boogie at the historic Samuel Worth Chapel.
Superstition returns to The Samuel Worth Chapel on Friday 16 October, with DJ Joe and Algie from Skank & Boogie on the decks. It's a disco and funk night in one of Sheffield's most unusual spots: the chapel inside Sheffield General Cemetery on Cemetery Avenue. The cemetery opened in 1836 and took its last burial in 1978, and it's now kept as a green space in the heart of the city.
The chapel is fully accessible and for the night the room becomes a dancefloor, with disco anthems and funk grooves running through. There's a licensed bar serving local beers, wine, spirits and soft drinks, and all the bar proceeds go to the work of the Sheffield General Cemetery Trust.
