Free morning of stories, songs and play with a musician, an author and an illustrator, followed by the announcement of the year's winning baby and toddler book.
Libraries Sheffield are hosting the Sheffield Baby and Toddler Book Award Celebration on Friday 20 November at the Crucible Theatre, in the Adelphi Room. It's the culmination of the city's baby and toddler book award, and the morning brings together the shortlisted titles for a session of stories, songs and play.
Throughout the morning, you'll get to meet a musician, an author and an illustrator, so there's a bit more to it than just sitting and listening. The whole thing builds up to the announcement of the year's winning title, which is the big moment the morning is working towards. It's run by Libraries Sheffield, and the shortlist itself is made up of baby and toddler books from across the city.

Doors open at 9:30am, with the live music and storytelling starting from 10:00am. It's free to attend, but space is limited and you need a ticket for every person coming along — so an adult and a child will need two tickets between them. The venue is the Adelphi Room at the Crucible Theatre, 55 Norfolk Street, Sheffield City Centre, S1 1DA.
