Sound immersion session led by Christina to mark the Celtic festival of Samhain, for letting go and turning inwards.
Christina leads a Samhain Sound Journey at Highfield Trinity Methodist Church on Sunday 1 November, from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. It's a sound immersion built around the Celtic festival of Samhain, which she describes as the sacred threshold where the veil between worlds is thinnest. The session runs for an hour and a half in the church's Main Room in Highfield.
The whole thing is framed as a time for letting go, honouring what's passed and turning inwards as the year moves into its dark half. It's about reflecting on the natural cycles of life, death and transformation, and the session is designed to help you honour those energies and guide yourself inwards. If you've been feeling the shift in the season, that's exactly where this sits.
It's a sound bath, so you'll be lying down and letting the sound wash over you rather than focusing on a performance. The focus is on the experience itself and the space it creates for you to settle into. If you're not familiar with the Celtic tradition, Samhain is the point where the year turns, and this session follows that lead.
