Motown, Soul & Classics Bottomless Brunch

The Old School Interlude are bringing their Motown, Soul & Classics Bottomless Brunch to Saw Grinders Union on Saturday 24 October, a five-hour session that runs from 2pm to 7pm. They're billing it as 'not your average brunch' — five hours of live Motown, soul and classic anthems with non-stop vibes — and it comes on the back of a sold-out run of the same brunch that went down well last time.

The bottomless drinks and brunch bites are served for the first 90 minutes, so the food and drinks part is front-loaded rather than spread across the whole afternoon. There are bagel and Turkish options, with a meze platter of hummus, tzatziki, shakshuka and feta parcels among the choices. On the drinks side, you've got house spirits, lager, prosecco, belini, mimosa and sangria to pick from. Once that first hour and a half is up, the focus shifts fully to the music for the rest of the session.

There is a dress code to keep in mind: tracksuits, hoodies, caps, football tops and sliders aren't allowed, so you'll want to steer clear of those if you're heading along. Tickets are limited and non-refundable or transferable, so it's worth getting yours sorted in advance rather than leaving it to the day.

It all goes from 2pm to 7pm at Saw Grinders Union on Penistone Road, Sheffield S6 3AE, with doors opening at 1:45pm. Tickets are £49.46.
