MC Hammersmith, West London's leading freestyle rapper, presents an evening of improvised hip hop comedy based on his origin story as the adopted son of MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice.
MC Hammersmith brings Ice Ice Nepo Baby to The Steamworks on Thursday 27 May, an evening of improvised hip-hop comedy. He's a West London freestyle rapper who's built a following of over half a billion views online, and this show is built around the origin story he tells about how he got there.
As he puts it, when he turned 18, his parents, MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice, revealed he was adopted, and his two famous fathers helped him climb to the top of the rap game. The whole thing is a bit of a wind-up, but it's the hook the night hangs on. From there, the show is improvised hip-hop built on audience suggestions, so the routines change depending on what the room throws at him. For 2027, he's working with brand new material, so it's a fresh run rather than a repeat of what he's been doing.
