Christmas pantomime Cinderella at the Lyceum Theatre, with Ore Oduba as Prince Charming and pantomime dame Damian Williams.
Cinderella opens at the Lyceum on Saturday 28 November, running through to 3 January 2027. It's the big panto for the 2026-27 season, and it's written and directed by Paul Hendy, who co-produces it with Evolution Productions. That's the same team behind Snow White and Aladdin, and Snow White took home Best Pantomime at the UK Pantomime Awards 2024.
The cast is a big one. Bibi Simpson takes the title role as Cinderella, with Ore Oduba as Prince Charming, Andy Day as Dandini, and Rita Simons as the Fairy. Damian Williams returns as the Dame, his nineteenth year in the role for Sheffield Theatres, and he hit 1,000 performances back in 2025. Matt Daines plays his screen sister, and James Harrison is on musical direction, having won Best Music at the UK Pantomime Awards 2026.
On stage, they're promising stunning costumes, lavish sets, fabulous music and the same-old same-old same-old hilarious jokes. There are also accessible performances scheduled: a relaxed performance, a signed show, and one that's both audio described and signed. Tickets went on general sale at 10am on Friday 5 December 2025.
