Cabaret Boom Boom Family Edition

Cabaret Boom Boom returns to Ruskin Hall on Sunday 25 October, this time as a Family Edition. It's a matinee, starting at 2:30pm, so it's one you can take the kids to without worrying about a late night. The bill features Maynard Flip Flap and Stewart Lodge.

If you've heard the name before, the Family Edition is the afternoon version of the same show that runs as a late-night cabaret for adults. It's built in the Boom Boom style, which they describe as a fun-packed, feel-good afternoon bursting with comedy, music, circus skills and gloriously silly surprises. The two acts on the bill cover a fair bit of that ground: Maynard Flip Flap is known for his music and comedy, and Stewart Lodge brings the circus skills to the mix. Between them, they'll be working through the comedy, music and variety that the Boom Boom brand is built on.

Ruskin Hall is the venue for the Walkley Community Centre, and it's the same room that hosts the adult Cabaret Boom Boom nights, so this is the family-friendly counterpart to those. It's a Sunday afternoon in Walkley, which makes it an easy one to fit around a weekend with kids in tow.

Tickets start from £12.00, and the show kicks off at 2:30pm on Sunday 25 October at Ruskin Hall, Walkley Community Centre, Fir Street, Sheffield S6 3TG.
