Weekly 21+ open mic night at Scion Cider Bar with music, spoken word, storytelling, stand-up, improv and magic.
Open Mic Mondays is a weekly night at Scion Cider Bar, and it's just as open as the name suggests. It's not just for musicians, either. The stage is open to musical acts, spoken word, storytelling, stand-up comedy, improv, magic, and whatever else you've been working on. If you've got a thing you want to get in front of people, this is a spot that welcomes it.
One of the best parts is that you can be on both sides of the room. You can sign up to perform, or you can just show up and watch. And there's a bit of a bonus for both: performers and patrons are eligible to win concert tickets to upcoming Salt Lake City shows, courtesy of Postfontaine and Live Nation. So, whether you're the one on stage or the one in the crowd, you've got a chance to walk away with something more than just a drink.
Before you head out, there are two things to keep in mind. First, the room is 21+ only, and you'll need a valid ID to get in. Second, if you're driving, street parking is available on Jefferson St and 900 South, just a few steps from the 900 S TRAX stop, so it's easy to reach by car or by transit.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Salt Lake City and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
