Over-21s hands-on workshop to design and make your own crystal spider suncatcher with beads, wire and a prism at Scion Cider Bar.
Scion Cider Bar is hosting a Black Widow Cider & Spider Suncatcher Workshop on Tuesday, October 27, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. It's a hands-on class where you build your own crystal spider suncatcher using shimmering beads, wire, and a hanging crystal prism. You get to pick from a variety of beads and crystals, so you can take the piece in whatever direction you like—elegant, whimsical, or fully leaning into the Halloween theme.
One of the best parts is that you don't need any prior jewelry-making or crafting experience to do this. There's step-by-step guidance throughout the session, so you're not just left to figure it out on your own. By the time the two hours are up, everyone walks away with a finished crystal spider to take home. It's a low-pressure way to spend a Tuesday evening making something you'll actually keep.
Keep in mind that the evening is for over-21s only, and you'll need a valid ID to get in. The venue is at 916 S Jefferson St W, with street parking nearby and the 900 S TRAX stop just a few steps away, so it's an easy trip whether you're driving in or taking the train.
