Book signing and reading by Marc Gregson to celebrate the release of his dystopian science fiction novel 'Behind the Glass'.
Marc Gregson is coming to The King's English Bookshop on Tuesday, November 10, to celebrate the release of Behind the Glass, his first adult science fiction novel. It's a breakneck dystopian thriller, and the evening is built around the book's launch.
The story follows Malcolm Jennings, who was conscripted by a corporation at the age of fourteen, hooked on rage-inducing drugs and turned into a disposable child soldier. Now an unstoppable survivor, he's become the top target for eco-activists fighting corporate rule. He ends up infiltrating the reigning authority's twisted business schoolβa 1920s mob-era simulacrum where the next generation of ruthless executives are groomed to out-gangster each other. It's a high-concept setup that puts a child soldier inside a corporate training ground dressed up as a Prohibition-era gang war.
