Each meeting centers on a single graphic novel pick for the month, so the group spends the hour talking through the same story together. It's a good way for kids to get into reading with a community of other tweens their own age, rather than tackling a book on their own. Once the discussion wraps up, the session rounds off with snacks, crafts, and trivia, so it's not just sitting and talking—there's plenty of hands-on stuff to keep them occupied after the reading part is done.
