One of Utah's largest orchid displays with common favourites and rare exotic varieties, presented by the Utah Orchid Society.
The Fall Orchid Show is back at Red Butte Garden on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8, taking over the Richard K. Hemingway Orangerie. It's put on by the Utah Orchid Society, and it's one of the largest orchid displays in the state. The Orangerie fills up with a mix of common favorites and rare exotic varieties, so you'll see the kinds of orchids you recognize alongside some you've probably never come across before.
What makes this more than just a walk-through is the people behind it. Members of the Utah Orchid Society are on hand throughout the weekend to share tips on keeping orchids healthy and to offer troubleshooting advice, whether you're a total beginner or you've been growing them for years. If you've ever struggled to keep one alive, this is a good time to bring in your questions and get a straight answer from someone who actually knows their way around a root system. There's also a selection of plants and pottery for sale, so you can pick up something new to take home.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Salt Lake City and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

The show runs Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Sunday from 9 AM to 4 PM, giving you two days to work around your schedule. Admission is free for Garden members, and for everyone else it's included with Garden admission. You'll find the whole thing at the Richard K. Hemingway Orangerie within Red Butte Garden and Arboretum, 300 Wakara Way in Salt Lake City.
