Exhibition of generative chamber, photographic and drawing works by Stephanie Leitch, Sri Whipple and Zak Jensen at Finch Lane Gallery.
Stephanie Leitch, Sri Whipple, and Zak Jensen open their exhibition Generative Chamber at Finch Lane Gallery on November 2, and it runs through December 18. It's a group show that brings together installation, calligraphic painting, and multimedia work, and the three artists describe it as an exploration of repetition, language, and bodily form.
Finch Lane Gallery is housed in the historic Art Barn, and this show is part of a larger 2026 program that came from 150 applications. The gallery's director, Todd Oberndorfer, has talked about the space's tradition of bridging traditional craft and contemporary practice, and Generative Chamber fits right into that—it puts calligraphic painting alongside installation and multimedia work, so you'll see a few different ways of working in the same room. The focus on repetition and language is the common thread that ties the three artists together.

If you're planning a visit, the gallery's hours are pretty consistent: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with Tuesday staying open late until 8:30 PM. That Tuesday night window is a good one if you're coming straight from work and can't make it during the day. The gallery is at 54 Finch Lane in Salt Lake City, and the show runs from November 2 through December 18.
