Weekly over-21s social game night with rotating classic games at Scion Cider Bar, free and open to solo players and groups.
Classic Game Night Thursdays are back at Scion Cider Bar starting Thursday, October 22, and they're sticking around for a while. It's a weekly social night built around rotating classic games, so the board on the table changes from week to week. The bar provides the game boards, but you're welcome to bring your own if there's something specific you've been wanting to play. The whole thing is pitched as a welcoming space for solo players and groups alike, so you don't need to bring a full crew to get in on it.
It's a recurring thing, not a one-off. After the October 22 kickoff, the nights continue on October 29, November 5, November 12, and November 19. If you're just looking for one night, that's plenty to choose from; if you're more of a regular, you can drop in across five Thursdays in a row. The rotating format means you'll see different games each time, so coming back pays off.

One thing to keep in mind before you head over: it's an over-21 crowd. You'll need a valid ID at the door to get in, so don't forget it. Beyond that, it's a free event, which makes it an easy one to drop into on a weeknight without much planning. The nights run from 6 PM to 11 PM at Scion Cider Bar, 916 S Jefferson St W, Suite A, in Salt Lake City.
