After-school art classes for children in grades K-6, held on Fridays, where they explore different art mediums and techniques.
Bad Dog Art Club is running its fall/winter session at BDA Studio in Salt Lake City, with classes on select Fridays from September 18 through December 11. It's an after-school art program for kids in grades K-6, and each week works as a new adventure rather than a set curriculum. The sessions run from 2:30 to 5 PM, so it's designed to pick up right after the school day ends.
The focus is hands-on. Kids work with a wide range of mediums, tools, and techniques, exploring the work of famous artists while experimenting with vibrant colors and playful materials. The club describes the environment as encouraging, one that celebrates each child's unique expression. Because the sessions are offered as individual after-school classes, young artists can drop in for a few dates or keep coming back throughout the season, and they'll get to explore, create, and make new friends along the way.
