Story Time with Santa for Pre-Schoolers

Story Time with Santa runs at Woodthorpe Park Plant Shop on Wednesday 2, 9 and 16 December, with each session from 10am to 11am. It's a festive story morning for pre-schoolers, run by Nottingham City Council's Parks and Open Spaces team.

The whole thing is set in Santa's grotto at Woodthorpe Park, where the children gather round to hear a Christmas story. Once the story's finished, they get to help Santa find the items he's misplaced around his grotto, and there's time for festive photos and selfies with him. Each child takes home their own baby Christmas tree to plant and watch grow.

If you're planning to make a morning of it, the Homemade Café is open for drinks, cakes and festive treats, and the Woodthorpe Gift Shop stocks Christmas gifts and seasonal treasures. It's £10 per child, and with three separate dates to choose from, you can pick the Wednesday that works best for you. The Plant Shop is on Woodthorpe Drive, Nottingham NG5 4HA.
