Christmas Wreath Workshop

Woodthorpe Park Plant Shop is running a Christmas Wreath Workshop on Saturday 21 November, with two sessions to choose from: 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. It's held inside the park's winter-wonderland greenhouse, and the whole point is to make your own one-of-a-kind wreath from scratch. They provide the foliage, greenery and decorations, so you just turn up and get stuck in.

One thing worth noting is the group size. Each session is kept small, with a maximum of ten people, which means you get plenty of hands-on guidance from the guides throughout. It's designed to work whether you're an experienced maker or a complete novice, so you don't need to have any prior experience to join in.

The workshop is part of the park's wider festive Christmas Market, which runs across the weekend. Beyond the wreath-making, there are live performances, an artisan craft market, festive plants, freshly cut Christmas trees and refreshments on site, so you can make a proper day of it rather than just popping in for the class.

It's £44 per person, and with the two time slots, you can pick the one that suits your Saturday best. The plant shop is at Woodthorpe Drive, Nottingham NG5 4HA.
