The Brickmakers Big Quiz

The Brickmakers Big Quiz is on Wednesday 18 November at The Brickmakers, 496 Sprowston Road, NR3 4DY. It's a general knowledge team challenge, so you'll want to get a group together rather than turning up on your own. Teams can be up to six people, which gives you a fair bit of room to cover different bases — one person for the sport, one for the music, one for the random trivia that usually trips everyone up.

For those who haven't spent much time there, The Brickmakers is one of Norwich's most iconic venues, and it's more than just a pub. It's got three stages: the main stage, which mostly hosts local covers bands and usually has free entry; the B2 venue, a grassroots space for up-and-coming acts from across the country — mostly metal and rock, but pop, punk and folk crop up too; and an outside stage they use during the summer. It's a proper music pub, so the quiz fits right in with the kind of thing that happens there.

The quiz itself is general knowledge, so there's no niche theme to worry about — just a broad mix of questions for you and your team to work through. It runs from 20:00 to 23:00, giving you a full evening to get through the rounds. Entry is £2 per person, and you'll need to book your team on 01603 947881.
