Stand-up show by Matt Bragg, one of the UK's most distinctive comedic voices, following his 2025 debut special.
Matt Bragg brings his new show Stand Up Comic to Norwich Theatre on Thursday 1 April 2027. It's a solo stand-up set, and the title is as literal as it gets.
Bragg has been working the circuit for more than a decade, playing to audiences around the world and sharing stages with Ricky Gervais, Matt Rife, Stephen Merchant and Harry Hill. This show follows a sell-out UK tour and the release of his debut special in 2025, so it arrives after a busy run of touring and recording. The act itself pairs deadpan delivery with sharply observed, meticulously crafted material. Critics have called it "classic observational stand up, delivered with effortless style", and Chortle described it as "Jack Dee's world view, with Frank Skinner's voice, all wrapped in a Mod's fashion sense".
It's a night of stand-up in the traditional sense: one comic on stage with a microphone, working through a set of observations and stories. The deadpan delivery means the laughs often come from the gap between what he says and how he says it, and the Mod's fashion sense is part of the package. The show is recommended for ages 16 and over.
