The UK and Ireland tour of the musical Grease, directed by Nikolai Foster with choreography by Arlene Phillips, at Norwich Theatre Royal.
Grease is coming to Norwich Theatre Royal from Monday 25 to Saturday 30 October 2027, as part of a new UK and Ireland tour. It's a run of six days, with evening performances at 7:30 pm and matinees on Wednesday 27 and Saturday 30 October at 2:30 pm. The show runs for two hours and thirty minutes, including an interval.
Set at Rydell High, it's the story of leather-jacketed greaser Danny and girl-next-door Sandy, who are reunited when she transfers to the school for senior year. The production is built around a score that's become part of the songbook of the last half-century, and a young cast performs the hits 'Summer Nights', 'Greased Lightnin'', 'Hopelessly Devoted to You' and 'You're the One That I Want'. Debbie McGee stars as Miss Lynch.
Behind the scenes, the staging is signed by Curve's Artistic Director Nikolai Foster, with choreography by Arlene Phillips, and the book, music and lyrics by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey. The tour is described as grittier and more glamorous than ever, and it's recommended for ages seven and over.
