Stand-up show by Fatiha El-Ghorri, star of Taskmaster and Mr Bigstuff, on her first stand-up tour.
Fatiha El-Ghorri brings her show Cockney Stacking Doll to Norwich Theatre Playhouse on Wednesday 2 December, starting at 7:30pm. It's her first ever stand-up tour, and the Norwich date is part of that run. If you've seen her on Taskmaster or Mr Bigstuff, this is the first time you'll get her live on stage rather than as a guest on a panel.
She's built up a fair bit of momentum before this. She won the Leicester Comedy Festival's Best Debut Show award, and her TV credits are already quite a list: Live At The Apollo, QI, The Last Leg, The Jonathan Ross Show, Cats Does Countdown and Donkey. On radio, she's been on Off Menu, Alan Carr's Life's A Beach and A Match Made Inshallah for BBC Radio 4. The New York Times described her timings and tough-girl shtick as a blend of warmth, raunch and surprise, which gives you a rough idea of the tone she's working with.
As for the show itself, it's a full evening of stand-up. It runs for about two hours with an interval, and it's recommended for ages 16 and over. She's warned that there's strong language and stereotype-smashing on the bill, so it's not one for the faint-hearted or the easily offended. If you're used to her as a guest on a panel, this is her taking the whole space for herself.

Tickets started from £20.67, though the show is now listed as sold out. If you've already got yours, it's at the Playhouse on St Georges Street in the city centre, with the show kicking off at 7:30pm on Wednesday 2 December.
