Stand-up show 'whatsherface' by Maisie Adam, with her trademark wit and gags, at Epic Studios in Norwich.
Maisie Adam brings her new show, whatsherface, to Epic Studios on Sunday 8 November, starting at 19:00. It's presented by Mick Perrin Worldwide in association with PBJ Management.
Adam comes to Norwich fresh from a run of high-profile TV appearances. She's been on Taskmaster, A League Of Their Own and Last One Laughing, and whatsherface is her brand new show, delivered with her trademark wit, firecracker gags and, as she admits, probably a few angry outbursts. The Evening Standard called her 'a complete comedy natural, currently at the top of her game'.
The title itself comes from a description her best friend's mum gave of her at a wedding: 'the tall, chaotic one with the weird hair'. It's a fitting starting point for a comedian whose appeal often lies in that very chaos — the sharp, quick-fire delivery and the slightly frayed edges that make her stand out from the more polished circuit acts. If you've seen her on the telly, this is the full-length version, with the new material taking centre stage.
