Stand-up show by BAFTA and Perrier award-winning comedian Dylan Moran, recommended for ages 15 and over.
Dylan Moran brings his new stand-up show, Looking for Trouble, to Norwich Theatre Royal on Sunday 25 April 2027. It's a brand new hour from the BAFTA and Perrier award-winning comedian, best known as the star of Black Books.
The show is billed as a fresh start, and the copy leans into Moran's signature style: he urges the audience to reclaim their lives, and goes as far as suggesting you might even become a 'lethal kickboxing, chess champion'. It's that same mix of the absurd and the bleak that's made him a fixture on the circuit for years.
Critics have been on board with it. The Metro called it 'joyfully cynical', The i described it as 'perfect for the times', and The Guardian gave it a simple 'superb'. The Telegraph went a bit further, noting that 'Trumping Shakespeare, he reduces life to four ages: Child, failure, old and dead'. If that sounds like your kind of night, you've got the run of the room.
