Stand-up show by Irish comedian Catherine Bohart about the all-encompassing, generational worry of her birthright.
Catherine Bohart brings her new show Borrowing Trouble to Norwich Theatre on Tuesday 16 February. It's a stand-up hour built around what she calls her birthright: all-encompassing, generational worry. She describes it as a laugh, too, so the anxiety is the starting point rather than the whole story.
Bohart is an Irish comedian and an Edinburgh Comedy Awards nominee, and she's been a Fringe regular since 2016. This is her latest full-length show, following Immaculate (2018), Lemon (2019), Work In Progress (2021, 2023) and Again, With Feelings (2024). Borrowing Trouble is a brand new show, so you'll be seeing it fresh.
Beyond the stage, she's a familiar name from the radio and TV. She's written for Radio 4's The Now Show and The News Quiz, worked as a correspondent on The Mash Report, and appeared on Live at the Apollo, QI, The Last Leg, A League of Their Own, Mock the Week and Last One Laughing Ireland. She also has an Amazon Prime special, Immaculate, and co-hosts the podcasts Tonsil Hockey and Trusty Hogs with Helen Bauer.
