Aurie Styla: Maverick

Aurie Styla brings his new show, Maverick, to the Norwich Theatre Playhouse on Thursday 4 February 2027. It's a brand new stand-up set that picks up where his previous tour, The Aurator, left off. He's coming off a worldwide run of more than 100 dates, so this is a fresh start rather than a repeat of what he's been playing lately.

On the surface, he describes his life as 'cushty', but Maverick is about the things that throw off the balance. The show looks at his work-life balance, family influence, relationships and health, and it does so with the same natural charisma he's known for. If you've seen him before, you'll recognise the style; if not, this is a good place to start.

Styla has a fair bit of TV behind him. He's appeared on Richard Osman's House Of Games (BBC), Comedy Central Live, Jonathan Ross' Comedy Club (ITV), Don't Hate The Playaz (ITV) and several seasons of The Stand-Up Sketch Show (ITV2). He also hosts the BBC Radio 4 show Tech Talk, which is returning for a second series. In 2025 he was selected as a New Face Of Comedy at the Just For Laughs Montreal festival, and in 2026 he's billed to debut at the Netflix Is A Joke Festival in Los Angeles.

Tickets are £20, and the show is at the Norwich Theatre Playhouse, 42-58 St Georges Street, NR3 1AB.
