The Newcastle Outdoor Adventure & Lifestyle Expo takes over the Newcastle Entertainment Centre on Griffiths Road in Broadmeadow from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 August. It's a three-day show, so you've got the whole weekend to work around rather than just one night to fit in.
The main draw is the gear. They're bringing together caravans, campers and 4x4 vehicles under one roof, alongside the latest camping gear, lifestyle products and travel inspiration. If you're in the middle of kitting out a rig or just starting to think about your next trip, it's the kind of place where you can see a few different setups side by side without driving all over the city.
