An all-day festival experience with over 300 brews from 50+ craft breweries, gourmet food vendors, live music and activities on the Newcastle Foreshore.
The Crafted Beer & Cider Festival returns to Camp Shortland on Saturday 7 November, taking over the grass of Foreshore Park on the Newcastle East waterfront. It's an all-day thing rather than a trade-show style exhibition, so you're meant to settle in for the afternoon rather than just drift through. More than 50 craft breweries will be there, with over 300 brews on tap—many of them festival-exclusives and limited releases you won't find in a bottle shop. Gourmet food vendors, live music, and other activities run alongside the beer, and the whole site is 100% cashless.
Your ticket includes a reusable festival beer cup, which you'll use for the day. All food and drinks are on top of that, and each brewer sets their own prices. You can grab 90mL tasters from A$3 and 285mL pots from A$7, so it's easy to sample a few different ones without committing to a full glass every time. The festival is strictly 18+, with no children or pets allowed on site.

Gates open at 11am and close at 8:30pm, with last drinks called half an hour before that, so there's plenty of room to make a proper day of it. Tickets start from A$46 plus booking fee for the Early Bird price, and the venue is the Foreshore in Camp Shortland, Pasha Way, Newcastle East.
