Kids Story Time

The Spine Bookshop is hosting Kids Story Time on Monday, October 19, at 4 PM. It's a storytelling session for children, part of the shop's regular Saturday morning tradition, though this particular one falls on a Monday afternoon.

If you've been around the shop, you know the drill: a storyteller reads aloud to a small group of kids, and that's pretty much the whole thing. It's a low-key way to spend an hour with the little ones, and since it's at a bookstore, there's plenty of browsing to do before and after. It's the kind of thing that works just as well for a rainy afternoon as it does for a regular weekday.

Story time is usually a Saturday morning staple here, so if you're used to the weekend crowd, keep in mind this one is a Monday. It's a good option if you're looking for something to do with the kids during the week rather than on your day off. The session is free, so there's nothing to pay for—just show up with the kids and find a spot. It starts at 4 PM at The Spine Bookshop in Nashville.
