Family-friendly screening of the 2005 stop-motion animated film Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, part of the theater's 'Spooky!' series.
The Parkway Theater is screening Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit on Saturday, October 17, as part of its 'Spooky!' series—a run of four family-friendly scary films. The movie is rated G, so it's one of those rare October outings you can actually bring the kids to without worrying about what they'll see.
Released in 2005, the film was directed by Nick Park and Steve Box, with Peter Sallis and Helena Bonham Carter providing voices. It follows Wallace, an eccentric inventor, and his dog Gromit, who run a pest control business. They land a job from the alluring Lady Tottington to stop a giant rabbit from destroying the town's crops, and Wallace's eagerness to please his client pushes the situation further than anyone would like. It's the same stop-motion charm the series is known for, just with a bit of a Halloween twist.
