Screening of Georgia Oakley's film adaptation of Jane Austen's novel, starring Daisy Edgar-Jones and Esmé Creed-Miles.
MSP Film is bringing a new version of Sense and Sensibility to Minneapolis this month, starting Saturday, October 17. It's Georgia Oakley's take on the Jane Austen novel, and it's playing in Theater 2.
If you know the story, you know the basics: the Dashwood sisters, the social constraints of the English countryside, and the slow-burn romances that follow. Oakley's version reframes that familiar ground for the screen, focusing on the love and sisterhood at the heart of the book. Daisy Edgar-Jones and Esmé Creed-Miles lead the cast, and the score is by Roger Goula. It runs 131 minutes, is rated PG, and is screened in English from a Focus Features print.

Then it returns on Thursday, October 22, with the same four slots as Saturday: 12:30 PM, 3:40 PM, 7 PM, and 9:50 PM.
