Kingfield neighborhood Halloween gathering with a costume parade down Grand Avenue, followed by a party with a food truck, games and DJs.
The Halloween Parade & Party is back in the Kingfield neighborhood on Saturday, October 25, with the whole thing running from 4 PM to 7 PM. It's a neighborhood gathering that turns the local streets into a costume route, so if you're planning to dress up, this is one of the better places to actually show it off rather than just wearing it to a house party.
The parade kicks off at 4 PM, starting from 42nd Street and working its way down Grand Avenue to 45th Street. That's the first half of the evening—the walking part where you'll see everyone's costumes on the move. Once the parade wraps up, the party takes over at 4500 Garfield Ave. S., where the neighborhood gathers for the second half of the night. There's a food truck on site, games, and DJs keeping things going, and the whole thing is built around spooky family fun, so it's as much for kids as it is for adults.

If you're coming for the parade, you'll want to be ready by 4 PM, since that's when the route sets off from 42nd Street. From there, it's a short walk down Grand Avenue to 45th Street before the party settles in at 4500 Garfield Ave. S. The food truck, games, and DJs run through the rest of the evening, and the whole event wraps up by 7 PM. It's a neighborhood tradition in Kingfield, and this year it's once again a parade and a party in one.
