Morning yoga session led by practitioners from East of Eden in Hintze Hall, followed by a live gong bath and exclusive gallery access.
Yoga at the Natural History Museum returns to Hintze Hall on Sunday 18 October, one of several dates running through June, July, August, September and October 2026. The session is led by practitioners from the London studio East of Eden, who invite you to unroll your mat in the cavernous hall and tune into your breath, with the practice drawing on the Museum's connections with the natural world. It's a morning class, and the setting is one of the building's most striking: you'll be practising beneath the magnificent blue whale skeleton that hangs above the hall.
The yoga isn't the only thing on the ticket. Once the class finishes, there's a live gong bath to follow, and you'll get exclusive access to galleries closed to the public, including the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition. It's a full morning's outing rather than just a quick session, so you've got plenty to do after the yoga wraps up.

On the practical side, the class runs from 08:00 to 09:15, with doors opening at 07:30, so you've got time to get settled before it starts. It's open to all levels, and you'll need to be 16 or over to join. You'll also need to bring your own yoga mat, as there aren't any provided on the day. Tickets are £37, or £33.30 for members, and you'll need to book in advance since there are no sales on the door. The session takes place in Hintze Hall, the Museum's central entrance on Cromwell Road.
