Free Monday group walk led by a volunteer leader, starting at Hornsey Vale Community Centre and looping around Stationers Park.
Wellbeing walks start up at Stationers Park on Monday 26 October, and they run every Monday until 28 December. It's a free group walk led by trained volunteer walk leaders, open to all residents across the borough's parks and green spaces, so you don't need to be a regular walker to join in.
This particular route is a 45 to 60-minute circular that sets off from Hornsey Vale Community Centre, loops around Stationers Park, and brings you right back to where you started. The park itself sits between Crouch End, Stroud Green, and Harringay on the site of the former Stationers' Company's School. It's a proper community space, with a basketball court, a café, a multi-use games area, a netball court, picnic areas, a playground, and table tennis. It first won a Green Flag Award in 2004 and has held onto it ever since, and a local volunteer group, The Friends of Stationers Park, looks after it.

If you're thinking of coming along, there are a few things to keep in mind. You're asked to wear appropriate footwear, bring water, and introduce yourself to the walk leader when you arrive. The walks run from 2.00pm to 3.00pm, and they don't take place on bank holidays, so check the calendar if you're planning a few weeks in advance. The meeting point is inside room 1 at Hornsey Vale Community Centre, Mayfield Road, London N8 9LP, and it's free to take part.
