Christmas cinema session screening 'The Grinch' with a live-action Grinch in costume meeting guests, recreating scenes and leading festive fun.
The Grinch Live Hosted Cinema comes to the Greenwood Theatre on Saturday 19 December, a Christmas cinema experience that puts the 2000 Jim Carrey film on the screen and then brings the character into the room. It's presented by Enchanted Princess Concerts, and the whole thing is built around the idea of the Grinch leaping off the screen and into the crowd.
It's not just a screening. A live-action Grinch in full costume welcomes guests with meet-and-greets, replicates key scenes live on stage and around the venue, and leads interactive festive fun before and during the movie. The room is dressed in Whoville-style decor to match, so the atmosphere starts before the film even rolls. It's pitched as festive family fun for ages 4 and over with adult supervision, and a licensed bar stays open for the adults throughout.

Doors open at 15:00, and the film starts around 15:45, so you've got plenty of time for the pre-show bits. Tickets are £20 per person, and under-2s go in free, though they don't get a seat. The Greenwood Theatre is at 55 Weston St, SE1 3RA, so it's an afternoon session in the heart of the city.
